Every story begins with a line.

A name connected to another name.
A marriage.
A child.
A generation reaching backward toward another generation.

This is where those connections are preserved.

Genealogy is the home of the family trees and genealogical charts that form the framework for the stories told throughout this site. Some are carefully constructed modern trees. Others are transcriptions, working charts, handwritten manuscripts, or older genealogical records whose formats reflect the people and periods in which they were created.

They will not all look alike.

That is part of their story.

Together, they provide the map: showing how families intersect, where branches divide and rejoin, and how one generation leads to the next.

Throughout Family Foundations and Clan of the Ancestors, individual narratives and biographies may refer back to charts found here. This is where you can return to see that person within the larger family structure—to follow the line backward, forward, or outward and discover the relationships surrounding them.

The charts are not the stories themselves.

They are the framework that allows us to find them.
